Thanks! Usually the former, in this case more something along the lines of the latter, I suppose. I have this bristle brush, which I normally use for painting hair, fur etc. - But when you play around with the brush settings, it works pretty well for creating the kind of textures you can see here.
Oh God -- I attended a triple feature of Phantasm I, II and III just this past weekend, and it was the first time I'd ever seen III. And the scene you've immortalized here just totally creeped me out, worse than any other!

Heh heh - Awesome! I just watched the movies again recently. The third is probably the best, overall, although I like them all.
