Final part of my trade with EclipticThebe, an icon of her pony character, Little Tale!

It was my first time ever attempting a non-canine, non-feline muzzle, but I'm really happy with how it turned out~!
I was going to give her the typical square pupils because she's an equine character, but because she's technically a MLP fan character, I figured generic round pupils would probably work better.
I'm honestly surprised how quickly the sketch for this came out, considering how blegh I've been feeling about my own.. everything.. lately, but it felt so good to be drawing again. The rest of the process took about a day, though, so I guess it evens out, haha.
It's been a while since I last created a fully rendered piece, too, so it was a little daunting when I got to the colouring stage! I ended up trying out some new techniques I've picked up from watching speedpaints (one of which actually required some Google-ing and realising the thing wasn't as complex as I was making it out to be; classic overthinking, woo) as well as mixing in my usual techniques, and a little bit of fucking around and "oh hey that actually looks kinda good totally meant to do that on purpose yep", hahah.
Also I actually bothered to colour my lineart on my own artwork this time!
