No thank you. Some people know how to build a pushrod V8 that doesn't need to rev to 12 grand to make power. It's also a retro thing. Not to say I don't get rock hard listening to a 4 rotor RX7 or a badass import rocking twin turbo 800hp rice buckets.

NA chevy V8's need 1.2 extra liters to make the same if not a little bit less then OHC V8's big whoop you can throw a turbo or super charger on something and make power...anyone can do that...

I'd rather have my dad's '79 Chevy Scottsdale. It has a 454 V8 with Dual Quad Holly carbs, and other than some use scratches in the bed it looks like it rolled out of the factory yesterday.

Well if you're talking new hotness, the LS-X just wins everything forever. Mustang guys have put an LS in their pony. There's a badass RX8 with an LS swap. LS just defines hotness. When you start an LS passing women instantly orgasm and throw their panties at it. Men regrow hair and have an automatic 6 hour erection. It makes dogs and horses go into heat. It makes barren women fertile to ride in an LS powered car.

I doubt it would be so much taller theyd have to mess with the hood height if the countless engine swaps ive seen have proven anything cutting metal and engine mounts can make a big difference. Now its been said before nothing is wrong with pushrod motors....theyre just super inefficient compared to the ohc motors chevys need for larger motors for the same power is proof of that. Personally unless its an old engine or im making a track car i dont want to have to go into my motor to make it have a rev limit the same as the competition other wise i could have spent the money on the engine that already had that rev limit and make that one higher or do something else to the car you know?

Sweet ride! I'm a motorcyclist and if I had the money, I would buy a pickup like that one, so I could carry my bike around while still being able to get around in winter and carry more groceries. It wouldn't put the chicks off either...
