Half of a two piece experiment--the idea was to use western techniques with traditional Chinese watercolor colors, tools, etc. I ended up cheating a bit. Will probably try this again some day.

To explain, I was already working on this piece before I got the commission, which had a different depiction of the moon beforehand. Anyways though, I thought I'd mention that here and give McJamie props<3 (Go check out her art, it's wonderful).

Done with Chinese watercolors, photoshop.
