i think i actually found it on google. It didn't look like that, I had to add the colors and stuff, i may have it still saved on my external harddrive. I'll check that out, and if I can find it, i'll let you know, or send it to you :)

LOVE Falkor. The book was so much different (and more detailed and interesting) than the movies were!!!

Don't forget - I am a German myself and happened to have seen Michael Ende presenting the Never Ending story as a mythical theater play (with only few special effects but a lot of room for fantasy). I can't stand the movies. Neverending story was the book of my childhood in early 80ies.

hahaha! It was a wonderful novel, I have to say. I wish I could've seen the play--I think that would have been beautiful! I do really like how the movies portrayed Falkor, but I thought the rest was really crummy.

Hm - I have the original novel in red and green (oh my - from 1983. The glue is already breaking a little bit). If you'd have use for it I could scan Falkor as he is portrayed in that book

Roswitha Quadflieg did those in pencil, they are green and red, just like the writing in the whole book.

As said, that was back in 1979 when no one has ever talked about Furry Fandom and Japanese manga were hardly known. Nevertheless I love her drawings very much.

Just keep in mind that back then "Neverending Story" was not intended to be a hit. I love the artists work but it's not all shiny and perfect. They are just pieces of art.
