This is just enchanting! All throughout the game you can feel this duo's bond growing. And though their relationship was never stated as being romantic, it felt like these two were the world to each other.
You really captured this feeling well. The happiness these two feel not just from escaping the tower, but because they could do it together. And they no longer have the world to themselves, it's something they can share with each other.

And I really need to say this whenever I mention him. PURO IS PRECIOUS BOI! I adore him.
