I'm actually curious about what technique you used to get that effect for the tail, since I've been trying to manage similar on some of my own work and having a rough time of it.
Also... What material did you use for it? I do *some* sculpture, and am always looking to improve. And frankly, your work is quite inspiring ^_^

I found this picture still in my Faves, and came to this page thinking Hey, maybe I should ask how to do that. Only to discovered I already asked. Ten months ago. That's... Okay, seriously, not cool. I'm not the best sculptor on FA, let alone the best artist, but I'd still take the time to answer an honest question from someone interested in the media I'm working with.
