The first 5 of 20 pumpkins I have to carve before tommorrow...
I'm going for 20 free-hand faces. I'm a big fan a big evil pumpkin grins...so that's why there are two...
First pumpkin: "OMG WTF, Camera!"
Second Pumpkin: "I'mma eat your face, cameraboy."
Third Pumpkin: Oh noes! Cameras and Face eatings!?"
Fourth Pumpkin: "I'm.....hesitant."
Fifth Pumpkin: "Dude....I am totally down for some face eatage."

I had this big elaborate halloween decorating plan that fell through because I ran out of time. One night about a month ago I remembered the website of someone I had found in my halloween circles of a guy who decorates his house with nothing but 100s of jack-o-lanterns. I thought that was the neatest thing...so I decided that I would just carve a bunch of pumpkins an dput them around my yard along with my tombstones I made last year.
That sounds pretty cool. Hopefully you'll be able to get some of the planned decorations up.
There's a farm in my old home town where they get friends and family, school and church groups to carve pumpkins. They have a few hundred pumpkins spread out in the fields. It's quite a sight!
I have a some pictures of the display on my website, though it was hard to capture how impressive it was.

All of them were carved with a Pumpkin Masters Power Master electric carving saw. http://www.pumpkinmasters.com/power_saw.asp This wonderful little item also allowed me to get 20 pumpkins done in about a total of 4-5 hours. It's my new favorite toy.
