Daaaaaammnn, this is incredible! I love everything about this piece; . The blissful unawareness of the reader; the steadily encroaching darkness that's slowly creeping in from the the right side of the picture; the way that the grandfather clock is starting to meld with one of the trees as the spooky forest gradually overtakes reality; the stark contrast between the crisp definition of the room opposed to the grainy, more earthen texture of the forest; the carpet in the reader's shadow beginning to transform into grass as little mushrooms sprout therein, the shadows of the wall-paper following suit to be come vines; and the shadowy hand snaking out from the woods as it reaches forth to snuff out the lamp's light.
Gahh, so much awesomeness ! You've outdone yourself yet again, Sab' .

Each time I read a new comment from you I end up even more happy than the previous one ♥ Thank you so much, dear!
It was quite the challenge to incorporate the change between the two sides of the pieces, but I'm glad the final result did give away the slight details depicting the shifting of the environment!<3

That's actually one of my favorite parts of this piece, seeing the two environments start to merge together as the spooky forest starts to override the room. One thing I missed in my initial viewing was the details on the grandfather clock, specifically the clock-face starting to transform into a knot, while the pointed spires on the top are lengthening to form tree branches. Gosh, everything about this piece is so creative and in-depth, I freakin' love it .
