Meet Jeth engin, a peculiar Yoshi species which is called a gas Yoshi.

Jeth's belly turns food he eats into a great amount of gas in his gas sack which's also his stomach. His body pulls the nutrients out of the gas that's stored inside the gas sack, allowing him to go without food for days as long he doesn't pass it if he so desires. But the food need to be nutritious enough. That's why Jeth is often always bloated and inflated.

A gas yoshi has excellent control over his gasses, allowing him to hold it as long as he wants which is necessary for the body to pull the energy out of it. However gas yoshis can't burp or belch as his anatomy doesn't allow it. So his rear is the only way to vent.

Because Jeth's body turns even the most bland food into gas he needs to be careful what he eats. Food like spicy kinds or flatulence inducing will create almost a endless torrent of gas for minutes. Jeth ether blimps up to a giant balloon or he can pass it like he is a jet engine stinking up all over the place, which prevents turning his body into a blimp. Well aslong it doesn't get plugged up...

His gas smell depends of what he ate. For example a juicy peach and it will smell like peaches. Eating a garlic and... you might want to create a great distance between you and Jeth. Deciding to eat smelly foods creates a skunk defending mechanism for him if Jeth desires to make his enemies nauseous like hell.

Jeth's often a chill guy and isn't really energetic as excitement can provoke his gas belly. He doesn't mind if it happens but he only swells more and he rather thinks about the others... depends what kind of person the "Others" are ofcourse~
