The El'himzen have gone through significant changes since I drew this, one of those changes making it a little more obvious if the characters are boys or girls. Oops.

Li'riem is pretty old! Due to them being extrememly in tune with Mana, the El'himzen can live up to 190 years! She is 142.

She needs the cane to walk any real distances, but she tries to go without it in public for appearances. Her mana abilities allow her to feign walking with only a slight limp, but this tires her out very quickly so as a result she almost never appears in public.

She was married once, but the marriage was an unhappy one. She had since broken up and is now with her new boyfriend of 30 years. They both agree that one reason they get along so well is because they're not married.

She never had children, but treats her sister's kids (and their kids) as if they were her own.
