its a big universe. too big for anyone to know the limits, if any, of what might exist.
can people from one world visit another?
can they live long enough or travel fast enough to do so in their own lifetimes?
we may have good reason to conclude that the speed of a photon has some relation
to the constant that represents the relationship between mass and energy,
and that at that speed it might take several of our own lifetimes on end to get much further,
then the 20 or so nearest other solar systems to our own earth.
but perhaps there are places where there are more that are closer together,
or worlds on which the lifetimes of people evolved there dwarf our own.
what is actual? we know only the limits of our immediate surroundings,
and those of ourselves. we know that relationship between mass and energy
is what is called a mathematical constant, and we know its quantity.
but do we know all that this limits? or what it might not?
