Have something amazingly artistic. A rather unique, amazing take on my Vanguard critter. Based loosely on scene from Taniwha, this is pretty freakin' awesome. Love it, absolutely love it. The exaggerated perspective, the details on the ship, mountains, weapon...
And look at those clouds...
Crikey.
Anyway, much thanks goes to
danillovesfood for his hard work on this. It really does look rather impressive.

Seems to be Danil's signature style, that exaggerated perspective thing he does. But you're right, it gives it quite an interesting feel, doesn't it? To be honest I had actually wondered what you would think when you saw it, given your exacting eye for proportions, perspective and patterns.
Bwa? My eyes are second rate, bottom shelf, bought for cheap at the chromosome mixer on a drunken Saturday night. :P Exaggerating proportions and having them still look correct is a skill I'd love to develop some day. I guess the first step is to be able to point and say, "I see what you did there."
Okay, your exacting MIND for such things, then! I've seen your photography, and know what you do for a living (and know what you did last Summer) You are exactly the right sort of person to notice these sorts of things, and perhaps accept the deliberately exaggerated nature rather than simply dismissing it as a flaw.
Hee. It was aggressive bumping to assert my ownership of the goal box. it's fun to watch forwards flop onto the ground and whine. I'm a terrible person...
I would love to try rugby, but the opportunity has never presented itself.
You swam just to be near the speedos, didn't you? ;) I can float. keep the stop watch at home, though. Figure out the water current's speed and you're good to go.

Backstroke was my best event (there is a joke in there somewhere). And with rugby - both league and union - being full contact sports sans any protective padding, you would have done bloody well - aggressive bumping is a requirement Man, you've really got a nasty streak running through you, haven't you? Your BF is a lucky man
Have you named your stains? I guess they are ok, just mind the odor. Some Fabreeze will take that right out. I'm more of a Louis Black/Daniel Tosh kind of humor. I don't leave stains. i leave swaths of destruction. But I take my shoes off to do so, first. Don't want to track in the carnage.
"Crikey" certainly sums this up quite well, although you have to be sure to do it in that more enthusiastic voice.
Very evocative setting. I know he's supposed to be a little intimidating, what with the weapon and all, but the terrain and view are quite oddly appealing to me. (Well, that and that the face on this one looks just a little cute.) Kinda like getting to visit that one lake house your uncle or other relative lets you and your family use once a year... not exactly a tropical environment, but inviting and mysterious enough to make you wanna go take a walk out in it.

The crazy, insane uncle or the fairly distant one you don't have much to do with normally but is on your dad's side of the family and you have those awkward moments with at the infrequent family gatherings uncle?
Yeah, it is kinda cute in a way Something a bit different and cool, anyway.

Naw, more like the uncle you don't see very much because your dad is totally jealous that his brother ended up so much more successful than him and hates his wife, but doesn't let that jealousy and hatred stop him from taking said uncle up on his offer to use his timeshare cabin for one week in August every year, as it's a far cheaper way to give the family the annual vacation.
The crazy uncle, the asshole uncle and the awkward drug-addict uncle? I get to see plenty of those three, though. :(

Oh, THAT sort of uncle. Sorry to hear that your extended family tree is full of some very low-hanging fruit, though. We only have one side of the family tree represented, and they're mostly okay - albeit one is rather uncomfortable to be around me now that he knows I'm a poof.
What I'd like to see is someone from my mum's unknown side of the family come crawling out of the woodwork one day and give me lots of money. That would be cool.
