I adore insects, and recently I started looking after pet beetles, which eventually got me interested in the larvae and such, and from there, into the larvae of other insects I love like moths and butterflies!

Also, learning to try to simplify stuff when drawing and designing things.

Technically, the Sun Beetle larvae is what a whole lot of beetle larvae look like - to the best of my knowledge, all flower chaffers, stag and dynastid larvae look like that! Photos of Sawfly larvae often go around the internet because of how cute they are, the same with the Purple Emperor, also known as the Japanese Emperor Moth, due to it's :3 face. The Rosy Maple Moth Caterpillar isn't as commonly seen as it's bright pink and yellow imago, but it's still really cute, and the Spicebush Swallowtail is often noted online because the Pokémon Caterpie was designed around the appearance of another Swallowtail caterpillar !
