My first bird painting :) -- I really like ravens because they have so much mythology about them in different cultures. In Danish folklore, the Valravn are ravens with supernatural powers and the ability to shape shift. They consume the flesh of the dead on battlefields.

But to make a long story short I use genuine goldleaf and a transparent medium for watercolours so it holds.
