An awesome SFW commission from
danza I got, showing one of my character, Eden Alois, in a rather stressful situation.

Here some Backstory to the scene. English is not my first language so expect some spelling errors ^^'
Eden strafed around the next corner, hiding behind several trashcans. The neon hurt his eyes. His wolf ears picked up the footsteps closing in. He ran again. The loud thuds from Edens bionic legs were easily to hear from afar, despite the constant summing noise of the energy turbines of the hovercars over the city. This and the reflections of the lights on his bionic prosthesis.
He hard faint voices, orders shouted, he heard the distinctive sound, when a magazine was reloaded. Two shots barely missed him as he scurried around the right into the next street, hiding behind a wall. He saw the shield announcing a dead end on the street he was on, but going over the crossing in the other direction was impossible if he did not want additional holes in his hide.
Quickly he decided, drew his stolen energy gun, ignoring the red light on its screen which warned him of the low battery. Some seconds passed as the soldiers closed in. Eden hold his breath. He saw the edge of a head turning around the corner. He pointed his gun at him.
Both did not move, the soldier as well as the wolf-cyborg.
“Hey? You see him?”, someone from behind asked. The man with the gun in his face nodded faintly.
“He is in front of me pointing a gun at my head.”, he answered.
“You behind him, get back!”, Eden ordered before they could react. “And you come with me!”, he said to the man, grabbed him at his shoulder with his bionic arm, pulling him close, shielding himself with his body.
“Hey! Chill!”, the soldier exclaimed, while Eden pulled him backwards, his robotic arm at his throat. The other hand holding the gun at the side his hostage.
“Drop the gun. Now.”, Eden whispered and the Soldier did as he was told. One of the other humans looked around the corner, an automatic machine gun in his hands.
“Don't shoot him!”, he said.
“Don't make me!”, Eden answered immediately.
“What do you want?”, the soldier asked loudly. Eden was only several steps away, a big steam vent with purple lights on his left.
“Let me go!”, Eden answered, taking another step back.
“We are ordered to arrest you!”, the Soldier declined.
“Then fucking stop shooting at me!”, Eden shouted back. He knew it was a lie. They should get him, that much was true, but it was the modified DNA they actually needed. A corpse was as much use to them as a living person.
“Ok. No shooting.”, the man answered. The solder slowly turned around the corner, his gun lowered, one hand extended towards Eden. “No need for more dead people. You're at a dead end. You can run nowhere. Surrender before more people need to die.”
Eden turned his head around quickly, he saw a last curve right behind him, but after that there was a tall wall. Directly on his right was a big window, but he could not escape this way. Behind the glass were the newest sex robots on display, behind them another wall and a door, locked most likely. Down the short rest of the street he saw neither doors or windows. Just more steam vents from industrial underground plants.
“Surrender.”, the soldier repeated as Eden looked back to him, making another careful step towards the wolf-cyborg. “Enough dead people. Do you even know how many you killed already?”
No, Eden thought. But my conditioned subconscious knows. “Let me go.”, Eden said again, ignoring the question.
“We can't.”, came the awaited answer back. “You're one of the first humans who survived the genetic re-engineering as well as the bionic upgrading. You're worth billions for companies. Don't you understand that your DNA could change the life of millions of humans?”
“I am a prototype of a fucking super soldier, nothing more.”, Eden answered, remembering his inhuman abilities his half human half wolf body gave him, as well as the tactical conditioning which allowed him to formulate complex battle tactics within seconds. And last his bionic prostheses, capable of punching and kicking holes into massive walls. I could escape, I could go through the walls or over them. But not with them directly behind me. He took another step back, slowly running out of space.
Eden, focused on the soldier in front of him, saw too late, that he had looked for the display on his gun. “Empty.”, he suddenly muttered and then shouted, “Empty! His gun is empty!”
The soldier in Edens grasp began to struggle, the one in front of him leaped forward, trying to break the bionic hand loose. With inhuman strength the wolf-cyborg threw his hostage to the ground, kicked the man in front of him hard in the belly and shot his head. Before the soldier hit the ground he turned around and shot his hostage in the chest twice. Only a second later bullets flew around him as the other soldiers of the squad opened fire. His instincts kicked in and he jumped to the next corner in a flash.
“Fuck!”, Eden whined as he leaned against the wall. He looked down and lifted his brown leather jacket, where a bullet had hit his abdomen. It quickly started to bleed into his clothes. He pressed his left hand, which held the gun, onto the wound, whimpering. He suddenly noticed that he had a glass shard in his right hand and he did not remember how it got there. He remembered the hail of bullets, how one of them hit him while he jumped. I picked it up when I landed because the soldiers shot the big window on the other side, a voice in Edens head said. Eden raised the shard, used it as a mirror to look around the corner. Three soldiers. One energy shield, armed with a gun, two assault rifles behind him. The rest of the squad, the same voice said. It was not his voice. It was a cold, logical voice, lacking all emotions. One of them signaled for reinforcements, that is certain. Additional combatants will know our location by now, but they will need several minutes to get here. Eden looked down on his gun, the blinking red light flashing before his eyes. Battery low since 4 shots. 5-7 shots remaining. His conditioned subconscious worked hard, creating a tactical plan to kill all threats within seconds while Eden thought of his former life, of his friends and of the time, where his mind was his own, before he had become a valuable experiment. He could not delight in his memories for long, as he saw through the shard that the soldiers were closing in. His conditioned subconscious demanded control over his mind, like several times before. Eden knew it was fruitless to fight it. He wasn't strong enough against this thing in his brain.
His other self took control.
