You know, they were awfully ambiguous about Mavericks in the MMX series- it kinda bugged me when 'Maverick' went from a disease in MMX3 to a political stance in MMX4. But i think the idea of factory built mavericks here works pretty well! Didn't they actually do that in the beginning of X2? Come to think of it- you don't hear much about Reploids that were programed to be Mavs from the start. I wonder if they'd have a different mentality?

Oh, why thank you. I have to say you threw me off with this kind of comment, considering it's the first one.
Sadly I never got to play many of the MMX games just the first one, and command mission. I played more of the DS versions. Haven't beaten any thanks to laziness though :P

Also, this story actually takes place in a sort of mixed up RP world that me and my friends play in during our game nights. It's a crazy mix of things that we enjoy and like, we've put a hold on putting in more things that comes from games or movies though. Lately it's only things we made up ourselves. But I'm quite sure that it's easy to spot the fan-pull-ins and the home-brewed stuff.
