And immediately clapped my paws over my mouth in shock.
I quickly ran my paws over myself and I felt –
Oh, for the love of the Lady . . .
I felt my ears, tail and shoulders droop. “Lovely. Just ____ lovely.”
The Wolf Queen gasped for breath. "I'll say you are!" was all she managed to get out before the giggles overtook her again.

This charming scene is from my Realm of Faerie story Middenly Charms, Part 29, featuring characters by
eocostello . It appears that his roebuck character, Westersloe Winterbough V, has attempted to transmogrify himself into a tall male wolf.
However, the castle's wards appear to have something else in mind, much to the Wolf Queen's delight.
