This is the thumbnail for an illustration job I've been working on. The image is a large poster and it incorporates notable people from the 1930's. I've been working out the composition to try and make the little girl the focus of the image. After looking at it for awhile I feel like I need another opinion. If you have any comments or crits, I'd be very grateful :)

Compositionally it works. it's not a fast read but your eyes do lead to the little girl and considering the subject matter I feel as if you don't need a striking contrast to sell the image. I'm not a big fan of Clyde's right arm leaving such a thin line against the border. I Think you can let part of his arm go off the frame or bring it in just a tad. A little red dress would give the piece a nice Schindler's list feel, but since this is just a thumb nail. Post the final when its done!
