An older image I was just now reminded of.
I was using markers and minimal colored pencil
at the time for almost everything. Mostly it's
markers blended wet on wet. I can see that I
used pencils to shade the hat and for the background
element.

The "turtleness" and clothing might throw off the casual viewer,
but this depicts a female. It was made for a close friend of the guy I was dating. She was in a butch mode at
the time and could pass if she wanted to. She liked turtles
and ska.
