One of those commissions that just didn't quite wanted to play ball and thus took a good bit longer than expected, along with the sketch looking quite different to the actual final picture. I don't quite know why that is, you'd think that once the sketch is looking like you want it too then it's just a case of refining it for the final, but nope! Every now and then a picture comes along where what worked in the sketch doesn't work in the final for some reason!
Whatever the case may be, it certainly has it's good sides as well since the soul-sucking bit looks like 10 times better now than it did in the initial sketch in my opinion, so that ended up being a part i am particularly happy with on the redesign.

...oh darn. I knew should have learned that spirit sword spell, I would have been able to stick him with it on the way out!
No there's something you don't see much in Skyrim a spirit you can't fight!
difficult subject to try and create, I think the color of the lighting helped it come out well. though looking at the sketch might change my opinion. good choice of background color
