Mandoran wanted me to draw an alien queen with eyes.
Though I found it to be a bit lacking, I decided to give her something to read. I'm not sure, but literature doesn't seem to interest her very much...
Maybe she's better off watching some TV instead.
First time drawing a Xeno queen, so cut me some slack.
I use minimum references for everything (partly due to being lazy and stubborn) so my xeno's tend to differ a LOT from the norm.
Anatomy once more decided to take a walk in the park while I was drawing.

An extra pair of hands always come in handy, from hugging your children to switching channels while the other pair is full with a bowl of popcorn.

Your choice of body structure of her is indeed different. One reason probably because the head is not that wide as we all got used to see. The headplates above her eyes makes me think that they can be relocated to a point, to cover and protect the eyes in case the need arises.

Aliens having eyes is already unnatural enough. XD
It may have been more natural to put the eyes more to the front, but I dislike aliens with eyes so very much I don't really care where they are placed.
My aliens don't need eyes but,if some one requests... I'll deliver. However, I always state never to make promises whether or not the end result will be somewhat decent. :p
