And here’s the final commission for my aunt.
She wanted the pink dragon head from the dragon foursquare, the slinky white dress from the giraffe bodystudy, and the pose from a picture of my cousin-in-law. A bit difficult and a lot of work to get the scales to look nice when the original drawing was a very different style. Like, how do you make scales look pretty and iridescent when doing flat colour? I think I did okay even so.
I gave up on the lettering and just printed out what I wanted, cut it out of the paper, then dabbed the marker on top of the stencil. Kinda came out neat, really.
