Ok, so... Cot's parents are gonna hear about the fight, when he doesn't come home they're gonna assume he's with Lyle, they're gonna go over there and blame Lyle for the whole thing as a bad influence.

When Cot gets finished telling Lyle what happened, and his parents eventually show up, I hope he tears them both a new one; his father for being both overbearing and neglectful of his son's personal life, and his mother for playing favorites and utterly unconcerned with her son.
