In my archery classes they've always told us to "cross" the bow and the arrow, but everyone has their own way, since it's more a subjective thing, and not an actual rule. (now, it's medieval-storic, we have exclusively medieval and older bows. The one in this picture is a storic one, which are the hardest to shoot with since they're the one with most lbs, and have no window. PLUS she's pulling the string with just two fingers, like damn. this girl got power, but less accuracy)
So Lara Croft furry version?
I don't think she MUST shoot from above her thumb, even tho in the hella past they did (and she's from the 1968), just the one she is more comfortable with

BOA; thats a tiny reference ... the pose in not false :) and the picture is still a greate pice of work
Maybe it´s the fakt she holds the bow in her left hand, what was unusual to see for me.
And technikal she is in a rest position, so got time for aiming the way she prefer XD The main thing is, she hit her target
