Ever since Oliver was very young he loved the idea of being part of an explorer/rescue team. Even while young he helped all he could around the guild he was in but never really got into an actual team. After a few years this kinda sorta stayed the same though, but he moved on to helping with more difficult tasks. He gained a reputation of being someone that can be relied on in any situation no matter how risky it is which of course would sometimes get him into trouble.
