Rightclick the movie while editing it in flash and select "properties", it should say the dimensions of the movie and roughly 12fps. You're gonna want 30-50 depending how fast this squirrel is booking it.

I think, for a start, it's good. You actually made it look like a 4 legged creature running, there's the slight issue with smoothness and speed, but that's something you'll pick up later if you keep at it. Really impressive :)

You've definitely got the idea, especially if you did this as drawings next to each other. Using a light table or digitial layering makes it a gazillion times easier. It looks good now, so I can only imagine how good your animations will look if you really go about "the process".

Also, 24 fps should be good if you like that speed. Its sort of animation standard.

well besides the fact like you already said that it needs to be sped up, it all seems realy solid and pretty fluid. nice work hon. remember 15 to 30 frames a second.
