Ever since I created my planeswalker Ceos I kinda got inspired by the lotus. For once it's of course the probably most iconic card of MtG, but I also like it as a theme a lot. I thought about that since I didn't want to make a new Black Lotus. So I came up with the Starblossom that Is clearly inspired by it, but not the same.
Ceos created the first of those flowers a long time ago when he had seen a Black Lotus and had gotten fascinated by them, eventually creating the starblossoms as a pet project. Those flowers are a common sight on Adastra nowadays and the mana they produce directly flows into the global enchantment that protects the world.
I hope the inspiration isn't too obvious...oh well, I wanted to draw something else for a change too. Hope you like the pic at least.
