Roaming through the large garden on a pretty warm day in April, Sascha was enjoying the sun and chirping of the birds.
A pacifier was clipped to his roomy jeans overalls, which were not fully able to conceal his padding underneath it.
Usually much more energetic he was still a bit sleepy today, so the little bear-hybrid was content with a slower approach of the day.
His best plushy friend Sammy, tucked safely under his arm, was also happy enough with the situation and being a little more lazy... and not having to prevent his little owner from getting in trouble.
While not being a brat, Sascha had a tendency for having spontaneous ideas that are meant harmless, but could possible lead into disaster. Or at least a little telling off.
Suddenly some movement at the edge of his visual field caught his attention.
A large butterfly was slowly flying around, pausing every now and then on one of the plants.
It was an Apatura iris or Purple Emperor, colored in a vibrant purple and some brown, very closely matching Sascha's fur color and the brightly purple colored streak in his hair.
"Hey Sammy look! Isn't it beautiful? Looks almost like me...Let's say Hello!"
Approaching the insect proved to be more complicated than he expected, because every time he got close, the butter lifted off again and flew a couple of meters further to another plant.
"Huh.." flicking one of his ears in slight annoyance over his elusive prey, the little bearkitty suddenly had an idea.
He ran into the garden shed, rummaging around until he found what he had been looking for.
"Yes that works!"
Satisfied with his idea, he stuffed Sammy into the front bib of his overalls, so he had both hands free, then picked up a long dip net from the last holidays. The soft mesh would be ideal to catch the object of his admiration without harming it.
Laughing he ran out of the shed and into hot pursuit of the Purple Emperor, playfully swinging the net around, missing the insect widely.
"Wait for meeeeeeee!" he squeaked. "I just want to tell you how beautiful you are!"
A very miffed looking butterfly wasn't all so happy with the cub's antics.
A super adorable and playful picture that I got from the highly talented
xainy
I really like how it came out, all fluffy, fun and energetic.
Thank you so very much, its really, really cute.
KIds don't really think sometimes, the just have crazy ideas and follow them through.
But don't worry, he probably wouldn't be able to catch the butterfly anyway. And even if he did, he would just tell it how awesome it looks and how the colored of the butterfly matches his own, then just release it back into the wild.

If you don't count being a littlefur as a creep, then I'm probably not. ^.^'
There was just a "greymuzzle" discussion a while and it wasn't pretty.
And thanks ^^ I mean I'm probably more serious than you would think most of the time.. but I have my more childlike (not childish, hopefully) side.

I'm a little/babyfur myself, so I don't think it's creepy. I think it comes off as more creepy the older someone gets, but I don't find you to be creepy about it... like, hypersexual or anything... so it's fine.
Where was the greymuzzle discussion? It's all a crock of shit if you ask me. Everybody belongs in this fandom, so long as they aren't threatening to other members.
You speak well - I'd imagine you can be quite serious. But that's okay. So can I.

Awww! Hehe.
When I was a preteen I used to catch little white butterflies in our back garden using just my paws. I always let them go afterwards. Occasionally there were some more colourful ones that were a little tougher to catch, but sometimes I succeeded.
Then when I moved to the west coast there were much larger yellow and black butterflies (Swallowtail). I could NEVER catch those, not even with the garden hose. xD
