They're great dogs, but do your homework. They are NOT dogs for first time owners or or lazy people. They need constant mental stimulation and exercise. Check out rescues first before you look at breeders. If you go the breeder route, do your homework on them also. GSD are not cheap and they are prone to a lot of health problems. Apollo and Remy both have bad allergies, Remy also suffers from bad hips (he's 11 yrs old too, so that's a factor). Just do your research, don't just get one because you think it'll be cool.
