What do a bowling ball, a conveyor belt, a mouse cage, a red balloon, a windmill, a magnifying glass, a cannon, and a monkey on a bicycle have in common? If you ever played The Incredible Machine, then probably still won't have a damn clue at first (lol). Nope. Not until you start placing them in strategic places to complete a rube-goldberg machine to complete objectives such as popping all the balloons, throwing a basketball through a hoop, lighting a fuse, and other mundane tasks overly complicated by having to use all this junk.
But holy hell was it satisfying when the placement was JUUUST right that after a good 5 minutes of trial and error, and one final 30 seconds segment of simulation, the puzzle was solved!
And ah, there's also a cat in the game, but it's not the kitty we see here ;)
I tried once again to do dithering on this picture (because the original game uses an interesting 15-color VGA palette) but... eh, it didn't look good at all ^^;
So in the end I decided to just forget about dithering and just tried to imitate the look and feel of the original graphics.
This thing took 6 hours to complete. Drawing and detailing all that junk took quite some time!
I'm trying to get back to the whole "do 1 drawing every 2 or 3 days" thing I got going. Got still quite a bunch of OCs and surely I can find more obscure and semi-obscure old games to do fanart of. It's starting to get real difficult but I just need to face the fact that most of the games that I assume "aren't obscure" are still probably pretty darn obscure lmao. Like this one for instance, I'm just kind of hoping many people will at least faintly remember this game haha.
But yeah anyway sorry for the long-ass description ;v; Enjoy! ˆˆ

I found this on CD a year ago... sadly even the virtual machine can't make it work because too much RAM, I guess? (Probably because 32GB is overkill even though I limited the virtual machine to 2GB) I've never seen that before, but I guess I'd better think of something else...
You can still run it through dosbox. Even play it online thru archive.org ^^

You might have to press CTRL+F12 a few times after the game is running to increase the cpu cycles (to make it run faster); or press CTRL+F11 to reduce the cpu cycles if the sound is choppy
