Back in high school I had this idea for a story based on an old Shakespearean term "Dog of War". Get the major wars of the world... but with dogs. Brilliant ain't it lol? Well so far the story takes place in Vietnam, which is The Dogs of War 1, and WWII being the second one, as a clever way too play on words for WWII and Dogs of War II... If that makes sense at least lol.. This was just an excuse too practice on both human and animals, well anthros basically lol. All ya gotta really do is smack a dogs or whatever's head then bam! ^^
This sketch here is of a close range support gunner, usually tasked with giving close cover too a German rifleman squad and too protect the machine gun grew armed with the deadly MG-42. German close range supports wielded the legendary MP-40 with it's great accuracy and good stopping power thanks too the high velocity 9mm Parabellum round, and sometimes a MP-28, at least until the MP-44 came later in the war. I call them "Specialists" because I can see these guys gettin' in the enemy's face and being able too flank with ease, whether that purpose is too suppress the foe, or even get a little explodey with ordnance. Them having close range weapons like sub machine guns, shotguns and light anti-personal weapons like stick grenades or a light Panzerfaust. My plan a long time ago was too make like a game of some sort. With different roles and what not lol. Not sure how the hell I was gonna do it tho, so now I will just turn it into an animated series when I can learn how and produce it alongside my main project lol.
Anyways ya heard first hand my military and gun nut side for like the first time ever lol, I kinda got side tracked lol. Hope ya like how this looks lol
