Feneris Blademaiden.
Probably drew this at the wrong time, what with all the dust memes going around, but EH!
As magical creatures, Feneris do not leave a corpse when they die, and rather start to dissolve as their life fades away, turning into glowing mists of magical energy.

The slash across the face has potential, the arm and leg wounds tho painful would be far from immediately leathal. I suppose there could be any number of smaller puncture wounds and blunt force trauma under the clothes. However she’s still upright and holding that massive sword off the ground.
I guess that’s something I will never fully understand about magical creatures.

Theoretically, yes. As their bodies restore lost mana, they slowly revert back to normal and cure minor wounds.
However, It's not a common scenario, as most of them die either instantly in combat or have nobody with actual healing magic to call upon.
Feneris themselves do not have access to healing magic, as most healing spells are holy or nature spells, and they themselves have no connection to either the gods nor the land itself, merely the leylines that fuel the land with its magical energies.

Sorta?
Whereas the other races were created by the various gods in their image, the magical leylines that run all across the world attracted elementals that would defend any exposed nodes against outsiders. However, some nodes did not attract elementals, and thus in order to protect them from abuse, the world created the Feneris who would hide and guard these nodes forever, unquestioningly so.
They're not an anomaly, but they weren't created by the gods, and only few of them ever leave their groves, therefore having no knowledge of other magic beyond arcane (which they are the undoubted masters of), and no god to call upon.

Hmmm... it would mean that he doesn't vanish, as his body is made up more like a Jar'kahl's than a Feneris, despite his appearance, physically stronger and more durable.
Also, by the time he is born, his father would have managed to re-assemble the vast knowledge of the various kingdoms' magic tomes into one place, the royal library, which essentially could allow Jia to learn any and all of the non-divine magical schools if he so wished. Including White Magic, which is the school of magic involving healing, curing and generally helpful spells that do not draw from the gods' powers. Clearly inferior to Holy magic, but also allows for more versatility as mages aren't shoehorned into only one magic school unless they choose to.
