The Heliopes Corvette was created by the Trak Empire very late into their history. The ship is meant to act as light protection in territories that they would rather not send a World Hive too. The ship is massive for a Corvette-type at 600 meters in length. It is armed with a very heavy bottom deck gun with 3 barrels that is capable of cross sniping past planets with ease making it ideal for sniping enemy targets with expert precision. It is armed with many point defense weaponry and anti capital capabilites and is capable of Blinkjumping, a rare ability in ships. It has a hangar rack on the bottom for 30-50 Rayscythes. In wartime, the ship protects the outerperimeter of largerr ships, destroying anything that gets too close that is deemed hostile. The ship is also very fast, capable of outrunning even many Jakaal Capital ships. When the Trak began to develop the design, they called it the Heliopes simply because its massproduction was first started around the planet Helios, deep in the Trak Imperial Nebula and extremely deep in the heart of Trak Territory. Helios also operates as the biggest shipyard system for the Trak and millions of Heliopes can be seen with other Trak Ships flowing out of assembly lines there. The Heliopes is also the main ship used in patrolling the territory around Du'Skan and other Frontier worlds for the planetary Mikitias in charge of keeping security there and those ones have been modified to allow nonTrak to operate them but are also known to be much weaker because of this. The ship has no price as the Trak do not use currency or similar interests however due to the estimated materials. The ship would cost around 800,000 Unison Credits.
