Ahh thank you sweetheart! Your comment seriously made my day!! ;~; I admittedly step out of my comfort zone a bit when working with less natural scenes such as these, so it means a lot to me to get feedback like this.
Also, I may go ahead and post up a soft, fluffy fur tutorial some time in the near future! I've been getting a lot of positive feedback and requests for such a thing, since folks seem to enjoy my technique. I figure it'd be great to share what I've learned, and there are a few simple tricks to achieving a nice effect. That said, I'm glad you like it!

Thanks! You point out something I strive for in my paintings, and that's impressionism through brush efficiency. I'm personally a big fan of large, broad brushstrokes that convey a meaningful visual narrative that's easy to read both at thumbnail and full views. In other words, I want the painting to look loose and effortless, even if it's anything but! Haha
