Just your ordinary, everyday battle between demons and paladins. Nothing to see here.

Update: Made a couple of slight changes/fixes on this page. First, I fixed Rohan's missing tail in panel 5 (and I bet it's an odd concept for him to have a tail to begin with! X3).
Of slightly more importance, I altered the appearance of Rohan's father a little to make him look a bit older. In the previous version, I felt like he looked more like an older brother than a father. So, to clarify, it's his dad, his mom, and his little brother cowering from him. Hope this makes that more visually clear, dood. <3

Just BARELY made it on this one (I'm not counting the time it takes to write up this description, so I still count it as on time - give me this one XP). I'm sick as a dog, but I'm not letting that get in the way of my midnight deadline. That being said, I have to stick a big ol' "WIP" on the title so I can go back and fix up some little things here and there.
So... about the page. Yeah, I know it would have been extremely satisfying to see Rohan use his newfound demonic powers to kick all their butts right this second, but unfortunately, there's a little bit more going on at this exact moment. If you're worried about the direction this plot is going... all I can ask is that you trust me on this one. I'm making this comic because I think it's a story that's worth hearing.
Anyway, I'm gonna go back and clean this up a tad, but for now... I MADE IT!
UPDATE: Whew... Alright... took another hour to tweak the effects, adjust a bunch of the shading, colors, and lighting, and overall did a big cleanup job. There's still a bunch of work to go, but I feel confident enough to make this "non-WIP" page 13.
Did a TON of crazy stuff with the coloration, but given the literal AND figurative insanity of the scene, I felt it was kinda necessary. I mean, it goes without saying that stuff kinda hits the fan on this one. I guess we'll see where it goes from here, dood!
Very special shoutout to
kyrio ; ever my comrade-in-arms. He REALLY came through for me coming up with some of the effects on the first couple of panels (the magic circle under Ven is my doing, though. <3
Without him, I don't think I'd even have gotten a WIP up on time. Love ya, bud. You're the best.

Wow that was a very intense page following up from the last page. Everything literally goes up in smoke by the time Rohan regains his senses. I think you tried really hard to assert the fact that he goes feral using demonic energy, cloudy mind and attacking his own family. I cannot clearly ascertain what will happen next but I have a few theories.
This is just a thought but I think the little guy that went into him fused however it's very overwhelming due to the rage they both felt beforehand. This makes me think that the demon is dominant which is why Rohan describes the behavior it as feral. However the demon does showcase a few interesting moments by summoning a demon circle(?) around Venton which I I only assume is there to prevent further harm to him since he's unconscious.
The second moment is seeing his family. Which the because the two of them fused means the demon is aware that they are close to Rohan. It didn't seem like he was particularly hostile to them besides slowly closing the gap and seemed hesitant to hurt them but that in itself has several interpretations. The family is obviously too scared to really react properly andthe demon (who is dominant) can't do anything to show its not hostile to them and perhaps even want to protect them. Because of the misunderstanding though he's forced to leave.
Ah I think that's a fair analysis so far. What do you think?

they also of course have no way of knowing its him, if ven survived and they don't find either rohan's body or the enyo the conclusion might be reached but they have nor eal way of knowing and i doubt rohan will risk interacting with humans again till he is fully in control of his own actions once more
and by then he may be long presumed dead...or worse.
maybe someday he can get back part of what hes just given up, but it will be a good long while...and a hard road to it...and we will be there every step of the way to see his steps along that road...can't wait

Ouch. That's gotta hurt. It'll make it kind of hard to explain what happened to his family later. Granted, the feral nature of attacking like that makes me wonder just what he was attacking. I understand the primal need to check on his loved ones, to make sure they're okay, but does that mean he saved them from other attackers or merely rushed to them just in time for the paladin to rush in and thrust him back? I suppose time will tell.
This whole thing seems somewhat strange to me. Not in a bad way, in a "there are many more things than are obvious" way.
I have no idea about the magic bit, that seems somehow disconnected from the rest, and without knowing what the end result was I cannot even make a guess as to what is happening there.
The majority of this seems to be a period of being aware, but also feral. A creature that has a complex mind that is processing, but not in the drivers seat. It is the part that makes the most sense, as it appears that the transformation caused a time where he simply acted on new instincts unable to overcome them.
The bit with the paladin though, that has me uneasy. It might just be how the viewpoint character is a "demon", but I find how he completely lost the tiny bit of mental control after that point a bit unnerving.
I'm looking forward to getting more information on this setting. Thank you for sharing it.
