I realize I fudged at LEAST 2 details in this. Please don't bring them up as I already see them and short of redoing the whole thing, I am quite powerless to repair it.
The monster, however, exists. It is a creature you hunt for money in FF12. I kid you not. It is a tomato with a rag doll body. That comes up to your KNEE. And has been blocking all trade to the city.
