Still slooooowly learning how to paint! Working in greyscale first to figure out how to shade in general and how to do colour values or whatever.

This piece taught me a fair bit about technique although I have a long way to go. It doesn't help that I got sick of it and gave up after a bit lol. Also, I really didn't know how to even shade the face at all, so it looks pretty bad. But that's part of the learning process! The pose also came out looking stiff and not nearly as feral as I wanted. Still, I'm happy with my progress, mostly just learning about different brushes and the actual process of painting.
