You see it all the time on furry websites, chat clients and Second Life. Perfectly sculpted bodies, thin-but-muscular or slim-yet-curvy builds, impossible body types. That NONE of us have in real life. If we do, we're in the vast minority. So I challenge you, FA. Take a photo of yourself, fully clothed or in your skivvies. Trace your body type and marks exactly, blemishes, scars and all. Then apply your character to the form. Let's see what the REAL face of FA is.

Also... I was, in fact, wearing bright fucking pink briefs in the original photo. What WHAT.

So I picked Corin, one of my older characters, because I was trying to think of someone who was humanoid enough in body structure where I could effectively use a photo of myself. :P Ironically (or not-so-ironically), Corin's body type and design were halfway based on myself in the first place. When I first created him as a character, he was a sort of alternate-me, a not-quite-me, but even though I haven't drawn or written him in a while, I think over the years I've come to resemble him a little more. Hmm.

So uhhhh, if you never knew, Corin is a sort of neko sphinx boy. For some reason here I included my tattoos (at least, all those you can see from this angle, I do have moar) but not my piercings. Sorry for the stupid wobbly lines of the tail. Doing lineart with a tablet is hard for me. >:| My tablet, it is tiny and ancient.
