A whole lotta ideas got tossed back and forth leading up to this one. At some point it was a duo in a fighting scene, or a dragon in flight.

Angel's been begging to draw an adult Rooth for quite some time. So I made him a deal on this one, granting him artistic license on tasteful alternative versions of this pose, available only via his Patreon (click his icon, or the original submission for more details). There's so much I could say about this piece. I really love the scintillating metallic effect on his wing membranes, and the organic caustic look to the scale pattern. As ever he put a great amount of detail into this piece, but not on every inch, just in all the right places. The crystals are a nice touch, too; no doubt Rooth would find the glowy things attractive. ;)

This is definitely the best anthro Rooth ever drawn. Bravo, my friend!
