Welcome to “Urban Jungle,” the sociological society show!
Today’s subject: wotter unemployedicus, a cynical beast nonetheless bound by resilience. Watch as our subject goes to hunt, a well-paying, non-hair-net job his elusive prey.
Perhaps he has set hopes too high, watch as he moves swiftly from interview to interview, entering optimistic and leaving rejected, an abusive routine that has forced many of his kind into hopelessness.
And yet, despite this continuous rejection, he returns, day after day, to continue the attempt, knowing well the odds. We may never know why he so begrudgingly continues this job-hunt cycle.
…..Fascinating, isn’t it?
