I’ve been practicing ferals and thought it might be nice to see if I’ve made progress by redoing this piece. It was also a test to see if I’d improved with my markers.
Since it wasn’t a marker colour test anymore I decided to add some orange just to make the fire look a little better. And it was inked once again in brush pen.

Both happen in countries based off of old ones in ancient times. Nippon is based off of feudal Japan and Hyrule is based off of Medieval England.
Both heroes are the descendant/reincarnation of a past hero (OOT Link and Shiranui) who get sealed in wolf form.
Both gain companions on their quests (Midna and Navi for Link; Waka and Issun for Amaterasu).
Both heroes gained their powers from sacred spirits (Sakuya for Amaterasu and the four Light Gods for Link).
Both heroes seek to uncover the truth of their destinies and gain the blessing other Gods.
Face down an ancient evil from long past (Ganondorf and Yami).
