This both was, and wasn't a patron request.

Originally,  samadhir had tasked me with doing an adult-rated piece, based on the Bowie song Starman.

But, after beating my head against the project for a few days I realized that I couldn't do it. To me that song just never had any sexual connotations to it. It sounds both hopeful, and mournful. Sort of wistful and regretful. There was just no way I could get my head around the idea of turning that into a sexual image. It would just end up as a disrespectful parody.

I made my case to Sammy, and he relented. I ended up doing something else for him, instead (which you will see at some point). But, in the back of my head, I was still toying with the idea of the song. So I finally ended up putting this together and left it to render ovenight... and here it is.

This is based on the lines from the chorus:
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He's told us not to blow it
Cause he knows it's all worthwhile

So, it started as a request, but I ended up doing it purely for my own amusement, in my own way.
