Collab with the explosively awesome
gingham!
He had the fun idea of doing a piece based on a Bump of Chicken song, because we're both sentimental nerds like that. We went with Tentai Kansoku, which is about a couple of kids out gazing at the stars, hoping to spot a comet before growing up and maybe growing apart.
Dude's linework totally blows my mind @_@ <3

You know I'll totally add to the chorus exalting your praise, but I do have a tiny shred of feedback that you can take however you will :)
Knowing how much time and attention you pay to finding the right colors, I have to say it's a little hard to decipher the sky color from the top fella's jacket. You know? It makes him blend in with the background. Perhaps if the background was a more contrasting hue the characters would even pop out more?
Regardless, ALWAYS good to see work from you :)

One the best pics I've EVER seen on the internet, and that's coming from someone who's been viewing fandom-related artwork for a good six and a half years. I truly hope you two decide to collaborate more often. As for now, I'll tentatively pick my jaw up off the floor...

That he is... but this piece stands out for more than that. It's surreal and real at the same time, and I feel like it could jump from one to the other at any moment, depending on how the viewer's day is going. You never know what a certain splash of color might give someone.
As for me, it's awesome any day of the week. I also really, really want to know where the doggy on the bottom got his jacket!
