If you watch me on twitter, you had a chance to nab one of these cheap toned paper sketches I took while my husband was in the hospital! These commissions kept us fed and above water financially while we went through yet another medical emergency (wrote details in my journal). They are all done in ballpoint pen and white gel pen in a 5" X 7" toned paper sketchbook, the only thing I could really do in the brief downtime periods of all the medical hubbub. I snapped photos of them on my phone in all different lighting conditions, which I why they all look really different!

By the end of doing these, I found they hurt my dominant hand pretty badly. So I won't be taking commissions specifically like this in the future unless I can find some thicker toned paper and do them in paint instead of pen. But I am going to open for more watercolor commissions today, just as soon as I can upload some samples!
