For AR paint...I totally see someone having trouble with their pants, throwing their paint brush down and spattering their legs...then as they shrink down they begin to think perhaps just painting with their fingers!

Hey fen, sorry for taking so long to reply. It's a paint splatter brush that I made in photoshop that I perspective'd and then painted over to give it shinies. I make TONS of paint splatter brushes for design stuff, so it seemed like the best (read laziest) way to get the job done.

No worries! Soty and I figured you'd disappeared for a bit for one reason or another. I had a go at some slightly more morbid custom brushes in similar vein (ha ha), blood splatter when trying for a similar effect when I was doodling up Left 4 Dead style concept zombies. Grr arg, etc. And I was wondering if I was on the right track. I guess practice makes perfect for twiddling all the variables for things like custom brushes.

For making brushes, I usually splatter black ink or acrylic and then scan it. Alternatively, cgtextures.com has some really good splatters that are ideal for brushes.

And ha! Soty figures I disappeared? Irony alert :P

The Greater Lesser Spotted Lesbo' 'Yena Lover is a rarely spotted beast these days, I must admit. x-D

And thanks for the pointers, I'm pretty unstructured in my attempts to get better at doodling generally but I want to get back into using Photoshop and learning more "design" ideas.

I must thank you for encouraging me to draw more non furry stuff too, started me drawing lots of human faces and suchlike.
