Beanie plush commission for
Such a fun character to make and one of my first real cat plushies as well. She was a tough one to make but also fun, I wanted to try get as much detail on her as I could. I love how she turned out. Her paw pads are so small as well.
Skai is 8 inches from her nose to back feet and with her tail she's 11 1/2 inches long. She's made from minky fabric with machine embroidery details. Her body is stuffed mainly with polly pellets with a little stuffing under her head to keep her head up. I also added polly pellets in her tail so it flops around as well.

Thank you very much.
When I'm sewing them in I line them up when the plush is pinned together ready for sewing and just sew them between the fabric as I'm putting the plush together. Depending on where you sew them depends on if you need to have them at an angle or not. With things like beanie I sew the tag side before the rest that way I can check more easy that it's not lop sided by turning that part right side. The site I order them with says they are Smooth satin artisan garment labels 190gsm. When I used to make my own I would use ribbon and iron on t-shirt transfers.
