A Barbaric! sketch commission for 
irvnation of his Skipper of Otters.
I've always been a big Redwall fan, and even gotten to meet Brian Jacques a few times. When asked to do a Redwall character, even a fan-made one, I was quite excited, to say the least! I took some liberties with the tattoos, but I really, really like how he came out.

Hehe, Anansi and Coyote have always been my favorite tricksters.
I only got to meet Mr. Jacques at a book signing once, when I was a kid, but he was so nice! I wanted to just pull up a chair and watch how he talked to his fans, he really liked each and every one of us. His wrist was in a brace, so he "only" signed two books per person.
In other news, you did a marvelous job on this Skipper, though he doesn't quite have what I would call a swimmer's build. That's okay though, he can just ARG his way through the water, in true barbarian fashion. I absolutely love his pose and expression, though. Gives me chills and puts me in mind of some of the more epic battles of the series.
