The Hawnstom Estate - A Pokemon TF Event! (CLOSED!)
Welcome, welcome! Come in, sit down, and relax. You must be tired from all that walking you must've done to get here. Don't be shy! You are our guest and we don't want to make our guests uncomfortable. You may be feeling the urge to explore this estate, a feeling that you may find something wonderful here. Go ahead, look around, investigate to your heart's content. What you may find may very well change your outlook on life.
Who knows? Maybe you'll find yourself a home at the Hawnstom estate...
This is a special collaboration event I'm doing with
AnAlternateGuy234! He'll be writing a story about you coming in and exploring the Hawnstom Estate, and becoming a Pokemon resident, while I'll be illustrating the story! A prime example of what our work will be like can be found here:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/27251909/
He'll be doing a minimum of 2000 words for the story, however, he has a tendency to just let loose, so it's very likely it'll be more. 2000 will definitely be the base of it, however, so you won't be getting any less. I'll be doing a full color image on my end to illustrate the changes you are going through on the Hawnstom grounds.
The image and story together will be 45 dollars. You will not be able to choose the pokemon you become, as they are all pre-determined, but you can choose a room to explore, and an item in that room that will decide your fate! Here is a description of each room:
Main hall- The chandeliers shake and creak as the squeaky door closes behind you. You feel something watching you from above, but as you look up you see nothing but lamps shaking. You dismiss it and move on to the other areas of the house.
Kitchen- The pots and pans hang out as the ovens and stoves no longer have guests to feed. Once, a long time ago, the air would be thick with the scent of food being prepared. You feel hungry just thinking about it. No one would mind if you try to get a bite yourself though. Not like you anyone was around to stop you…
Walk in Freezer- Walking into the cold freezer sends chills down your spine; metaphorically and literally. Ice blankets the walls of the disused freezer and your breath leaves you in short white clouds. The longer you stay, the colder you feel; but that isn’t a bad thing, right?
Dining room- The dining room gathers dust as neither guest nor servants use the beautiful silverware set out before you. Will you be the one who serves? Or the one who eats?
Garden- Various vegetables have overgrown the once tidy garden. You feel yourself needing to dive down into it; to consume them or to be amongst them you do not know.
Guest rooms- Here is where the guests to the household once stayed in, during its hay day. Now though, they remain ghostly, dark, and quiet, devoid of any occupants. Come in, relax, you are a guest in this house after all; but how long will your stay be? An eternity?
Living rooms- Various trophies mount the walls of the living space. They are fake, facsimiles of the real things. You feel the presence of them staring you down, watching you, judging you, want you to.. join them?
Master bedroom- A long time ago, the owner of the house use to reside in here. The big cat of the house would rest his head and run the house from here. Will you take up the mantle?
Backyard pond- The pond glistens and shimmers in the sunlight during the day, and shines beautifully at night. The urge to gaze into the pool of water pushes you towards it. Wonder where all the fish are in this pond?
Kennels- The canines of the house used to reside in here, resting from the hard days of barking and playing. The cages though now lay empty and bare, but one seems to have a fresh bed inside. You dare not enter it though, feeling as though someone already claimed that spot
Basement- The owner used to keep reptiles down here. It was dark, cramped, a singular heat lamp would laid out for those reptilian pokemon to laze and sunbath under before they would slither off to rest. You feel like laying down yourself, just relaxing under the warmth of the heat lamp.
Attic- The place where old or unnecessary furniture was stored. However, who knows what you could come across up here if you decide to hang out for a while. In fact, you may just hang around and hear the wind picking up from the windows aligning the room….
Stables-Much like the kennels, in here the more equine pokemon would rest and recover. You swear you could hear distant neighs and snorts if you focused hard enough. Wait… did that stall door open? And did that harness just jiggle by itself?
Greenhouse- The stranger fauna would reside inside the greenhouse so that they would not need to compete with the other plants. It is hot, stuffy, and humid just for them. You almost feel at one with the plants though. Maybe you can be one with them in here. But that would be just silly!
Study room- The Owner of the house and his son would tutor themselves in here, away from others so they may concentrate on their work. The room had a intellectual quality to it. Your mind expanded and grew, your intelligence growing just being in here. Do you know what antidisestablishmentarianism means by the way?
The Son’s room- The heir to the estate would’ve resided here, if he were still around. Noe however, it lays dormant and still. When you walk in, you feel like a child once more and feel the urge to just play around and smile for a bit. Who knows? Maybe you will stay here for a little longer and play…
Library- Many books line the shelves of the quiet library. If one peers in them, they could be lost amongst the tales of the various legendary pokemons. Why not sit down and take a gander at the plethora of tales that the books hold?
Music room- The son was a talented musician who could play a song that could tickle the most deaf of ears and sooth the most rage filled soul. His father, who recognized and encouraged the son’s talents, repurposed a room specifically for him to practice in. One could still hear the echoes of instruments that no longer play, instruments that lay silent and dormant, waiting for a person to come and help fill the room once more with the sounds of music. You feel like you could make a tune of your own in here.
Gym- The gym is cluttered with a variety of various sporting and exercising equipment. As you look upon them, you can almost feel yourself getting stronger just staying in the room. In fact, is it getting smaller in here?
Pool-The swimming pool, once filled with the sounds of splashing and laugh, now lays silent from no one playing in it. A quick dip into the cold water wouldn’t hurt, would it?
Maintenance room- The room that powers the entirety of the mansion. Be careful: electricity is dangerous, and it runs through this room like blood through your heart. Please do not touch anything in here. Wouldn’t want to catch a nasty shock now do you?
Each room can only house 1 resident, so when a room is booked, it will no longer be available. To book a room for yourself, please fill out this form:
