After stealing a pair of earrings, a thief discovers that they pack a wallop; a curse that turns one into a pig! Good ol' Kieran is doing her best to convince her new porcine pal that being a curly-tailed oinker isn't as bad as it seems. But uh oh! Turns out being a pig comes with a lot of unforeseen consequences, such as not being able to hold ice cream cones properly. Pesky hooves! And a devilish orange hamster pointing and laughing doesn't make things any better!

And the unreasonably large degrees of adorability continue! ^_^ She looks even angrier about that now than she did getting turned into a pig!
Lucky that she's run into a good friend in Kieran (also very cute) : trying not to laugh, trying to share her own ice cream, deciding this isn't the time to suggest that a perk of being a hog is never having to say you're sorry for eating food off the ground... The depths of compassion!
I hope whichever delightful commissioner requested these isn't quite through with the porky li'l purloiner. ^_^

I think "hog" is gender-neutral? I'm sure I'm missing some, but "boar," "sow," "shoat," and "gilt" are the only gender-specific swine terms I can think of off-hand. Do you know any others?
And ooh, that sounds like a good time. ^_^ Now, let's see, how about a couple...
1) Pig-headed Thievery - Refusing to have her destiny dictated by her new species, this little piggy tries to get back up to her old tricks. A few flavors here!
a. This goes exactly as poorly as one might expect. Maybe she's caught! Maybe she gets away (dignity optional)! Or maybe she can't even get Step 1 off the ground!
b. Against the odds, she uses all advantages (and works around all disadvantages) of her transformed self to make off with quite a haul! And who would ever suspect a pig?
c. She sneaks away some fancy jeweled bracelets! And then realizes pigs aren't exactly welcome clientele at any pawnshops she knows. Uh. But at least they match her earrings?
2) There's (fun)Gold in That Thar Soil! - Seeing where theft got her, she's willing to give honest work a try. You see, as fortune has it, her new breed's legendarily skilled at truffle hunting. With reluctance and/or with greed outweighing pride, she's going to put her new gifts to use and root up a small (delicious) fortune!
3) A Slice of Hog Heaven - Kieran (or someone) tries to help her new pink friend ease into her new circumstances: she's advised to relax in a cool, soothing mud bath. High-society ladies get them at spas all the time, technically! Will our transformed human turn up her snout at the idea, insisting any time in a sty is just not for her? Or will she take an embarrassed breath, get a stress-relieving little wallow in, and decide maybe -- just maybe, and only until the curse is broken, mind you -- this might not be so bad.
How about you? Any ideas you had?

hah.. I just thought she'd go mad for the ice cream taste and totally lose herself with appetite and agressively eat it off of the ground in a munchies-tranze.
Not sure how effective a thief she'd be if she can't even hold an ice cream cone XD
heh.. probably a scary thought to be near a sty... and feel like a pig among natural born pigs.. would carry a sense of doom.. poor piggy XD

Re: Munchies - Heh, that'd tickle me plenty, too; discovering there are mental changes to go with the physical is always a fun time (for certain definitions of "fun"). ^_^ If she's fighting unwanted swinish desires currently swirling through her head, that'd be another reason she looks so unhappy in this image.
Re: Theft - Make no mistake, that 1a option is certainly the expected outcome. ^__^ But one can always be surprised by ingenuity. If she finds success, I imagine Step 1 would involve the long shot of becoming the beloved pet to a wealthy family (even cute as she is, that'd be an uphill adventure unto itself!) and then over time very carefully amass a hoard. Again, kind of a big "if."
Well, that or maybe fall in with a magic-using fellow thief (able to understand her courtesy of said magic) who's got some ideas of how to use her unique crossroads of size, species, and skill set? Perhaps while said criminal (ostensibly) works on a way to turn her back? Even that would depend on some impressive luck.
Re: Truffles - Ooh, that's a nice, evocative image you've painted. ^_^ I'd been thinking she might try to do it on her own as more of a freelancer. Even so, you're almost certainly right that it wouldn't work out as well as she might hope, at least long-term. Even if she doesn't get scooped up and put to work at it by a human truffler and even if she resists any urge to eat all her merchandise, she'd probably still run into the same "oh, right, commerce is more of a humans-only thing" revelation.
Hm, then again, she's chilling with Kieran in this pic: if there are more bestial sorts she can communicate with that might treat her like a person, that could be a start. Heh, could even be that "human turned animal" is a surprisingly common occurrence in this neck of the woods, with an economy of sorts developing around it. Even if that's yet another longshot. XD
Re: Sty Terrors - You're not wrong. Unless she mentally divorces herself from the idea, there'd be a definite sense of the macabre about spending time with ordinary oinkers. Culture shock of, "I guess this is me, now," wouldn't help, either. Poor piggy, indeed!

Hog is gender neutral. Boar is the term for a male, uncastrated pig, barrow is a castrated male, sow is a female that has given birth and gilt is a female that hasn't. Shoat is a gender-neutral term for a young pig, generally one that has been newly weaned.
Oh, we'll just have to see!!!
